This Privacy Policy explains how Tobobs ("Tobobs", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Tobobs website, desktop client, and related services (the "Platform").

1. Information We Collect

• Account data: email address, hashed password credentials, username, avatar image, and account creation date. Authentication is handled by Supabase.
• Profile and social data: friend connections and any profile details you choose to add.
• Creator data: game names, slugs, logos, configuration data, code packages, and asset links you submit.
• Usage data: pages viewed, games launched, session timestamps, and general interaction events.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and referring URLs.
• Client data: when you launch a game, the desktop client transmits your account identifier and the requested game identifier to our servers.

2. How We Use Information

• To create and maintain your account and authenticate sessions.
• To display your profile, friends list, and published games.
• To deliver, host, and stream creator content through the desktop client.
• To operate, secure, debug, and improve the Platform.
• To detect fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.
• To serve and measure advertising.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Legal Bases (EEA/UK Users)

We process data under one or more of: performance of a contract (providing the Platform), legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, service improvement), consent (advertising cookies and optional features), and legal obligation.

• Essential cookies / local storage: to keep you signed in and store session tokens. These cannot be disabled without breaking the Platform.

• Supabase - database, authentication, and file storage.
• Google AdSense - advertising delivery and measurement.
• Hosting and CDN providers - serving the website and client downloads.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the Platform. In the event of a merger or acquisition, data may transfer to the successor entity.

7. Public Information

Your username, avatar, published games, and friend connections may be visible to other users. Do not include information in these fields that you do not want to be public.

8. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes, or where content has been shared publicly and cached by third parties.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), row-level security policies on our database, and access controls to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to processing or withdraw consent.
